It is expected that with the application Pinakes3 will be possible to publish on the web research results detecting from a large number of different projects coming from various disciplinary areas of Humanities and of Cultural Heritage.
The use of this application will ease the growing of the re-use of digital existing information on the web and will give the possibility to recognize in each part of a collective research the individual authorship. Pinakes3 will offer the possibility to work in a cross-disciplinary way and in a multilingual environment.
This implies that PhD dissertations, scientific articles, bibliographic researches from different discipline will be able to communicate with each other increasing the sharing of scientific result at any level. Finally, the spreading of the use of Pinakes3 as a production and publication tool for scientific research could create the required critical mass of data so to impact the academic recognition of this activity at a curricula level.
